Robert Couch (Benny) is a freelance cartoonist, painter, photographer, 3D artist and graphic designer. In 2003 he founded poorlydesigned.com, a haven for publishing creative works of graphic art, independent music (poorlydesigned Records), computer games (poorlydesigned Software) and films (poorlydesigned Pictures). Robert Couch and poorlydesigned.com are based in Kalamazoo, Mich.

Jason Slingerland (Doctor Boxcar) has written, directed and produced several short films, programs and projects since 1997. In 2005, he and Troy A. Smith (Not a Hobo) founded Imminent Entertainment with a commitment to producing short and feature-length films in the state of Michigan. Imminent Entertainment is based in Kalamazoo, Mich. Slingerland, in conjunction with Imminent Entertainment, filmed and produced his first feature, Coffee Shop Kings, last year. This award winning film has been followed up by his first documentary, Hobocon.




The Pixie

Wilhelm Rumpf (The Pixie) has been involved in the production of Hobocon from the start. Wilhelm brings his skills he has gained in marketing B.F.T. GhostWorks to the film. B.F.T. GhostWorks produces custom plastic and race only parts for clients and is based in Kalamazoo MI. Throughout the film Wilhelm used his people skills to conduct the interviews and bring out the true persona of the people we interviewed.
